About Me

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I attended Northwestern University and Marquette University Law School.   My husband Chris and I met in college on the soccer field.  I worked as a prosecutor for the State of Tennessee while Chris finished medical school in Memphis.  In 2004, we moved to Cleveland, Ohio for Chris’s orthopedics residency, and I worked for the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland.  I also enjoyed a valuable professional experience working for two judges at the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, writing opinions and mediating their civil litigation docket.  On a daily basis, I brought opposing parties together and found an amicable resolution.  In 2010, we moved to St. Louis after Chris finished his trauma fellowship in Seattle.  He is now at Barnes Jewish Hospital.

All three of our children attended Meramec Elementary and Wydown Middle, and our oldest is about to graduate from Clayton High School. I proudly coached Clayton recreation soccer teams from 2012-2023 and volunteered as a three-year head coach for Girls on the Run. Additionally, I chaired the Helping Hands committee, which brought volunteer opportunities to Meramec, for many years through the Meramec PTO.   I currently serve on the Clayton High School PTO. I also practice law for Inkwell, LLC, a boutique estate planning firm.

I love to walk our dog, Ivy, around our beautiful neighborhood and enjoy exercising at the Center of Clayton, attending classes at Tru Fusion, as well as biking and running in the area. Chris and I love to spend nearly all of our free time watching our wonderful kids play the sports they love!
